Specializing in Integrated Pest Management entomology (Crop Protection), I hold a B.Sc. in Environmental and Biological Sciences, an honours degree in Environmental Sciences with integrated pest management (IPM), and an M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences with IPM. My research focused on using entomopathogenic nematodes as biological control agents against tomato pests. My education has equipped me with theoretical and practical knowledge in laboratory techniques, tissue culture, and research methodology.

I am passionate about crop protection and agriculture, and I am a dedicated worker eager to learn new skills. I excel both independently and in team-based environments, maintaining a strong work ethic and attention to detail. I welcome constructive criticism and strive for continuous growth as a researcher.
During my studies we learned a lot about good research practices and how to function effectively in
laboratory and field setups. I am a dedicated hard worker and always eager to learn new skills and
acquire more knowledge, especially in the field of environmental management and Crop Protection. I hope to make an impact and help improve on future approaches and outlooks in these fields.

I work well alone, but I am even more at home in a structured team-based environment. I take pride
in good work ethic and always aim to give it my all, pay attention to detail and get tasks done as soon
as they are assigned. I do appreciate constructive criticism and am always looking to grow and improve
as a worker and researcher.

Provide professional recommendations for the effective commercial control of agricultural pests and diseases on citrus.
Monitor pest and disease status throughout the year, advising farm (and marketing if required) management on risk and on market suitability.
Provide support to farm management to ensure effective pest and disease scout reporting.
Build a basic knowledge basis on chemical control pest complex for citrus, understanding the approaches and integrating biological control agents with softer approaches.
