Ntuthuko Makhanya

I am a chemical engineering graduate, a fast learner, goal driven and action minded. I seek an environment where I can fully learn to become a professional engineer. I have good problem solving and analytical skills. I matriculated in 2016, becoming one of top 50 students in KZN. I studied BSc chemical engineering at UKZN.

In 2019 , I worked as a vacation work student at Mintek, assigned to pyrometallurgy division researching the use of renewable energy in lead and iron production. 2021, I worked as a SI leader at University of KwaZulu Natal, providing extra classes and tutorial to engineering undergraduates students. I also worked at CSIR, researching the kinetics of xylose extraction from softwood sawdust. I currently work as a chemical engineering graduate intern at Tiger brands, assisting with Mass balance and BOM remediations, line quality solutions, waste and water management, utilities usage reduction.

I graduated BSc. chemical engineering in 2021. I obtained merits certificates in thermodynamics and applied chemistry. In 2016,  finished matric, becoming the best student in iLembe district, and top 50 student in KZN. In 2015, I was named the best student in physics in iLembe district.
