 I am an aspiring Business Development and Operations professional holding a National Diploma in Operations Management, from the Durban University of Technology, with over 3 years of experience in administrative and operational support roles within the logistics and transport environment.
Throughout my experience as a YPT at Transnet Freight Rail –
Operations, as well as a Cargo Coordinator at Transnet Port Terminal, responsible for reefer monitoring, I have  developed strong competencies in administration, record-keeping, reporting, coordination and compliance with operational procedures. I am accustomed to working in structured, regulated environments where accuracy, accountability, and adherence to policy are critical.
I possess strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. I am detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high professional standards. I am an experienced logistics and operations professional with a strong background in warehouse administration, port terminal operations, cargo coordination, and site administration. I have hands-on experience managing reefer cargo, export documentation, container inspections, tallying, and WMS systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

My experience includes coordinating cargo handling at port terminals, supervising operational teams, verifying shipping and SAP documentation, and supporting rail, port, and terminal operations within large state-owned entities. I also bring solid administrative and HR support skills, including timesheets, payroll support, SAP requisitions, reporting, and record management.

I am detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and skilled at working with multiple stakeholders to meet operational targets, support service delivery, and maintain high standards of compliance in fast-paced logistics and industrial environments.

I hold a National Diploma in Operations Management, which provided a strong foundation in logistics, operations planning, supply chain coordination, administration, and performance monitoring. My studies equipped me with practical knowledge in process improvement, operational reporting, quality control, and compliance, directly supporting my work in port, rail, warehouse, and cargo-handling environments.
