Ntando Mhlongo Sipho

My name is Ntando Sipho Mhlongo, 24-year -old goal drive and self-motivated individual. I have recently obtained my LLB degree at the University of Johannesburg. I enjoyed my time in university; besides academics, I used to do some extracurricular activities such as community engagement and volunteer tutoring. These activities taught me how to work with people from different backgrounds and with different personalities.

I am a believer in the multi-dimensional integrated professional environment, in which great professional relationships are created to grow as an individual and most importantly for venture benefits. I heard about this opportunity on social media and received additional information on your official web page. I am a fast learner and can adapt to change easily, hoping that my interest to outclass in these fields with being in the firm. 

The reason why I decided to study law is that growing up l was exposed to a lot of imbalances in society, so I always had the passion and drive in helping people, but I realised that they are more qualities required in the law industry. It requires someone good with communication and confidence; knows how to work under pressure and think on their feet; attending to different situations with a calm, focused, and positive mind. I believe that as an individual I portray all those personal qualities. I constantly improve as currently am a member of City Cares which is an organisation that gives back to the community. A volunteer tutor in helping first year students to adapt and improve in legal research. This shows how well I can work with people and motivates me to strive for excellence. I believe with a law degree I will have the necessary knowledge and skills to make a real impact and ensure justice amongst marginalized communities.

I have never worked at any field relevant to law, but as a student I have worked part time at Alpha cabling group and at Leo Tech
