Electrical and Electronic Engineering graduate from Stellenbosch University with hands-on exposure to utility-scale renewable energy projects. Experience includes supporting solar PV, wind, and hybrid system development through design tasks, performance analysis, inverter diagnostics, and compliance work. Additional involvement in large-scale PV plant studies, BESS-related system understanding, and hydrogen optimisation using advanced modelling techniques. Strong interest in renewable power engineering and contributing to high-impact projects within the energy sector.

Practical experience gained with renewable energy developers and IPP engineering teams on utility-scale PV and wind projects. Responsibilities included PV layout evaluation, inverter and MPPT performance diagnostics, module degradation assessment, shading and string design review, grid-code compliance checks, and technical support for project development. Additional work performed on Google Earth Pro visibility studies (KMZ), iSolarCloud inverter monitoring, and detailed plant performance spreadsheets. Contributed to the design of a 350 MW PV plant using both string and central inverter architectures.
