I am also well-organized with great time management skills especially when it comes to meeting deadlines, whether working on academic extracurriculars or professional projects. I am a diligent worker who applies proven analytical, management, and writing skills, which I hope to leverage into the Administrative Officer position at your organization.

 

I can meet the minimum requirements, I matriculated in 2010, and I have 3 years of experience in my current role as an Assistance Administrator for the Astrophysics Research Centre at the University of KwaZulu Natal. Mostly dealing with Procurement and tender processes i.e., sourcing quotations, purchase up to processing invoice payments. Record keeping. I also maintain a good relationship with our suppliers, and research collaborators by setting meetings, follow-ups, and taking minutes. I have high competency in Ms Word and Ms Excel as I use these computer skills to administer my duties. I completed training in Ms excel advanced and Minutes and Agenda course from Durban Business College as well as the Finance for Non-Finance Managers Course. Also, have a certificate in basic computer skills from the HTM Training Centre. I have experience working on the UKZN computer system (ORACLE ITS version and I-Enabler).

 

I have excellent communication skills acquired over the years, which include communicating with Bidders, suppliers, clients, auditors, academic staff, students, support staff, and external stakeholders.
