I began my career at the shipping line and my interest shifted to the clearing and forwading. I have extensive years of experience in freight industry. I am proactiveness, very high levels of communication, building a trusting relationship and adding value consistently to all key working relationship parties. I understand and facilitate the clearance requirements in ensuring OTIFNE (On time, in full no errors) for each Import shipment. I also have International Trades qualification and customs compliance certificate. I have done other training programs that make me competent in line of work I do. 

Coordinate and monitor all aspects of the import process, including customs clearance, shipping, and transportation.

Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation for customs clearance and compliance with import regulations.

Track and report on the status of shipments, identifying and resolving any delays or issues.

Work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth communication and coordination of import activities.

Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to negotiate rates and terms for import services.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all import activities.

Stay up-to-date on import regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the import process.
