Duties :-Shipment tracking-Preparing for shipment arrival-Requesting of arrival notice from Carrier/NVOCC Gathering all the required commercial documents .-Registration of the shipment .-Requesting a signed clearing instruction from the client. -Sending commercial documents to customs .-Doing cargo dues on OTC -Requesting charges from the shipping line -Eft requestions-Reading and understanding of a Bill of entry .-Handling detained shipments (Port health, Sars Exam,Saps Stop ,NRCS,Plant Inspection and State vet ).-Sending release documents to the shipping line .-Liasing with transporters and sending transport instructions .-Consistantly updating client on the status of release .-Arranging delivery of the shipment to consignee. -Updating Navis -ICS Booking -IWS Booking-Surrendering Original documents -Shipment handling of a LCL and FCL .-Releasing a shipment on storage /overstay .-Invoicing of a direct shipment .-Invoicing forwarded shipment. -Sending invoice pack to client .-uploading documents on OneScan.-Requesting POD's and filing them.-Sending status reports to clients with regards to their shipment .-Metrix OFS system. -Ensuring customer documents are delivered  on time .-Ensuring that files are invoiced out according to rate profiles (rate cards and proposals.)-Surrendering of Original documents .-Following up on Shipped on board details.-Arranging carrier haulage -Arranging inspections and representatives.-Monitoring and following up on deliveries. -Performing duties as instructe
