 Compiled industry alert reports on risk development within an industry that may 
impact the bank’s clients such as disease outbreaks, natural disasters, trade 
disruptions etc.
 Compiled industry update/ reports to give progress on the developments relating 
to the issued agri alerts.
 Assisted in the compilation and submission of AEA quarterly agricultural conditions 
reports to CROM, EXCO, CIC, RGC.

The quarterly agricultural conditions report consisted of a summary on climatic 
and agricultural conditions for the different regions within south Africa covering a 
three-month period. 
 The report also included information on rainfall, temperature, dam levels, plant 
growth conditions and climatic forecasts for a particular quarter period.
 Assisted with the compilation of an agricultural outlook 2024 which consisted of 
the Horticulture industry, Grains industry and Livestock industry.
 Provided Input for preparation of unit presentations
 Built and maintained industry database focusing on:
-Livestock price trends: poultry, piggery, beef (weaners, carcass, feed prices)
-Horticulture price trends: deciduous fruit, macadamia, citrus, table grapes, 
vegetables
-Grains price & production trends: CEC data on production, maize, soya bean, 
wheat, sunflower
