As a 21-year-old black female geomatics final-year student at Tshwane University of Technology, I embody resilience and determination. Defying odds, I rose above the challenges of growing up in a financially disadvantaged household as a foster child. Despite the hurdles, my passion for geospatial technology drove me to pursue excellence. With hard work and perseverance, I've excelled academically and developed skills in GIS, surveying, and spatial analysis. I'm now poised to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future. My experiences have instilled empathy, resourcefulness, and a strong desire to empower others. I aspire to leverage geomatics for sustainable development, improve lives, and inspire fellow disadvantaged youth to pursue STEM careers.
