Nompumelelo Zungu

Dear Sir/Madam
I am Nompumelelo Sinqobile Joyful Zungu, and I currently reside in Durban. I am a 
Clothing Management graduate, from the Durban University of Technology and 
currently employed at Mr Price Home as a Quality Technologist. I was previously 
employed at Edcon as a Garment Technologist in the Children’s Wear department. I 
entered the Edcon Quality Assurance Internship programme (2012-2013) as an 
Assistant Garment Technologist.
I have also obtained my BTech degree in Quality, I did the course through the 
Durban University of Technology. As a Quality Technologist I provide technical 
consultancy to all the stakeholders within the Supply Chain by ensuring that the 
agreed Quality standards and procedures as set by the Quality Division are 
maintained and implemented. Therefore, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. 
As a Quality technologist I strive to ensure that suppliers adhere to legislative 
requirements. Please refer to my CV for more information regarding my

I am a person who works extremely well with others. I am enthusiastic and open 
minded, and I have passion for every task I do. I am not afraid to tackle any 
challenges and I am always happy to learn something new, as I believe that I can 
only gain from every experience. I always strive to be the best that I can be. I never 
let go of my hopes and desires. I believe that by hard work and dedication I can 
achieve anything I put my mind to. My ability to work well while under pressure will 
help me to accomplish my tasks regardless of any difficulties.
I am a responsible person who possesses a serious and fun approach towards the 
work and entrusted tasks. I am very eager to learn and expand my skills and to also 
up skill others. I strongly believe that my combination of my education, skills, and 
motivation that I have obtained thus far will make me an appropriate candidate for 
the post.

I am a Quality Technologist holding a BTech in Quality and NDip in Clothing Management. I am highly motivated, passionate and innovative. I am a self-starter and I am 
completely focused on delivering quality. I would thrive in an environment that 
allows me to explore both the creative and logical sides of my personality. With my 
experience, I believe I could make a significant contribution to any organization 
and/or the team.
I am always willing to learn new things and always face challenges head-on. I previously was a Garment Technologist for Clothing, however now I am Quality technologist for homeware products. I am also the go-to QA for new categories, establishing new Standard Operating Procedures and Quality requirements. Identifying new stakeholders where the need arises. I work with Home fragrance, Cosmetics and Food products. I also enjoy training new recruits.

I did my BTech in Quality where we were taught how the purpose of Quality and the importance of Quality procedures to avoid issues.
