Nokuzola Myakayaka

I worked for 5 years with the University of Witwatersrand research Unit as a project manager for clinical research studies. In this role, I was responsible for management of the research study as well as ensuring data quality and data accuracy. In this role I had to design and train staff on standard operating procedures as well as ensuring understanding of the study protocols. One of the studies I was involved in was working with adolescents and young women and HIV self testing, and the study equipped with better understanding of adolescents and young women.

I am currently working as a project coordinator for the TB program at Ehlanzeni district. My role involves coordination all the activities of the program to ensure the organization reaches its goals and that all the program indicators are met.
