Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the self-service bank department, ensuring that all cash and valuable items are transported safely and securely;
• Manage and lead a team of cash-in-transit officers, providing feedback to enhance performance;
• Ensure that the cash-in-transit department meets all regulatory requirements, including industry best practices;
• Develop and implement strategies for optimising ATM network performance, including monitoring and analysing key metrics such as transaction volumes and service availability;
• Ensure ATM devices are stocked with sufficient cash to meet customer demand;
• Conduct daily cash audits for ATM devices, including budget forecasts for each ATM device, audit missing or extra money, and sign off instructions to the Cash Team to replenish devices;
• Process and sign off on DCWC i.e., ensure accounts are checked daily, cash checks are conducted regularly, and entries are correct;
• Manage overtime, mileage, treasury and penalties i.e., monitoring cash orders as per the SLA and ensuring no penalties are incurred for excessive orders;
• Conduct regular audits of ATM devices to ensure that they are operating in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures;
• Conduct regular audits to ensure all transactions are properly recorded;
• Ensure financial entries are captured correctly and sign off;
• Identify discrepancies during audits, and resolve them promptly to ensure that the ATM network operates efficiently;
• Collect data on ATM performance and usage patterns and use this information to make data-driven decisions;
• Prepare regular reports on ATM performance and transactions, and present them to senior management;
• Work with internal and external auditors to ensure that the ATM network is compliant with all regulatory requirements;
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to the ATM network; and
• Develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring all resources are used effectively and efficiently.

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting. Subjects studied Auditing, Taxation, Financial Management and Accounting.
