About Nhlakanipho Ngubane:

To whom it may concern,

My name is Nhlakanipho Mpumelelo Ngubane. I’m a B.com degree graduate & have years of work experience within the hospitality & tourism industry. I’ve also got experience within the agriculture & environment industry to name a few. Most of my work experience is part of hospitality management, however, working in different sectors such as agriculture & environment also serves as a tremendous bonus applying for this vacancy as I feel I’ve already got the necessary skills to perform at my outmost best & thrive even in under pressure conditions. Whilst studying towards my degree & diploma I rotated hotel departments & also partly working in the agricultural sector due to the wine studies I was doing simultaneously with my international hospitality degree. With such experience that I’ve gained, I can truly say I’m a versatile individual & possess different skills to complete various objectives. Part of my work experience as being a viticulturist & winery intern & employee , I also had the responsibility & duties to make calls to clients, liquor board authority officers & liaise about liqour licenses & make conference calls to communicate whatever was needed. I strongly believe I can excel in this due to being versatile & able to multitask because I give everything my all in whatever role I take. For the past 3 years , I’ve been working at renowned establishments within Johannesburg, with one being Steyn City which is a formidable Nicklaus design golf course , & was working as a floor supervisor & was responsible for everything within the F&B department, from menu engineering, wine tastings , food & wine pairing, MICE & golf functions. Within the 3 years, I also had the opportunity to work at one of the only boutique hotel in the country that has a hospital that offers a aesthetic clinic & private hospital that does surgeries & a wellness care centre that goes with a spa. This was a very unique hotel & offered numerous amenities that promoted wellness & a healthy living lifestyle. For a boutique hotel, it had a exceptional market niche for MICE & events, in which I was heading by hosting different conferences for various big brands & running big functional events whether it be baby showers, awards, graduations & weddings. After my time in Johannesburg, I relocated to the bush to experience a much more tranquil & slow paced environment within the Thornybush estate in Hoedspruit Limpopo working for a luxury lodge called Monwana Lodge. I was a lodge anchor & FOH manager, where I welcomed guests , held bush stops like a surprise cheese & wine tasting, gin & biltong tasting, crumpet & mimosa , bagel & mimosa, food & wine pairings either during lunch time or dinner service. I’d also plan & forecast for the department by allocating butlers , stock control & liaise with the kitchen department for any dietary requirements to be known about. I can be a great asset & addition to the company & team. I will certainly not let you’ll down & will craft by working towards the companies mission statement & vision. I hope to hear from you soon.
With kind regards,

Mpumelelo N Ngubane
