Neo Makakavhule is my name, and I hold a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry as well as an honours degree in quality management from the University of Johannesburg. I'm 29 years old and have seven years of experience as a site manager in the coal mining industry.

Ensure that daily qualities report it is sent to the client within agreed turnaround time.

• Maintain all lab equipment and ensure any defective equipment it is been reported to the instrument technician and ensure it is being fixed.

• Ensure that all flash reports and monthly safety and environmental topics are communicated to the personnel.

• Ensure that the resources are being utilised accordingly.

• Conduct training and PTOs to ensure continually improvement.

• To ensure that the lab participate on PT scheme and if there is any deviations from the report to ensure that an investigation it is being conducted and report the improvement form to the quality department.

• To ensure all internal audit findings are being closed within 14 working days or request for an extension when encountering any difficulties.

• Always work with safety conscious attitude and demonstrates good and safe work habits.

• Ensure that we comply with health, safety and environmental acts, regulations, and requirements.

• Booking medicals, exit medical and inductions for all the personnel.

• Consolidate the month end report and ensure is being sent to manager on the monthly basis.

• To always ensure that timesheets are being to send to human resources.

• To organize any overtime if the jobs require manpower or when the is shortage of stuff.

• Conduct monthly service level agreement performance meetings with the clients.

• To ensure to maintain minimum of 75% compliance with the service level agreement

• Attend all the meetings as per the client requirements

• To plan ,organize ,lead ,and control the laboratory operation

• Ensure that adequate and appropriate manpower resources, equipment and tools are available for total operational efficiency.

• Effectively manage and continuously improve the quality management system, and the implementation of any certification and accreditation within the business line.

• Implementations of occupational health and safety  

• Ensure that all laboratory records are kept and readily available for audits queries.

• Ensure that low management of leave, such as annual leave and sick and ensuring sufficient staff is available during operations .
