Neo Borole

I am a motivated and detail-oriented construction professional with a solid academic background and hands-on experience in both building and civil engineering projects. With a BSc in Construction Studies from the University of Cape Town and a National Diploma in Construction Management, I have developed strong technical skills in project planning, cost estimation, site supervision, and stakeholder coordination.

My professional experience includes working as an Assistant Resident Engineer at Lilibara Projects and a Site Agent at Project Wave Construction, where I was responsible for managing project timelines, quality control, and ensuring compliance with construction standards. I am proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, and have a good understanding of GCC contracts and project life cycles.

I take pride in my ability to work well under pressure, communicate effectively with clients and teams, and contribute positively to project outcomes. I am passionate about delivering sustainable and efficient construction solutions that improve communities and support development in Southern Africa.

Neo has practical experience across various roles in the construction industry, including working as an Assistant Resident Engineer at Lilibara Projects, where she was involved in project administration, site supervision, cost control, and quality management on civil projects such as a leachate pond, waste facility refurbishment, and boundary wall construction.

She also served as a Site Agent at Project Wave Construction, managing residential building projects from planning to completion, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining client relationships.

Earlier in her career, Neo interned at Sigma Construction, where she gained foundational skills in site measurements, quality inspection, health and safety, and site documentation on a three-story building project.

Bachelor of Science in Construction Studies from the University of Cape Town, completed during 2021–2022 ( 1st and 2nd year). Prior to that, she earned a National Diploma in Construction Management from Lerotholi Polytechnic (2016–2019), where she developed a solid foundation in construction principles and project management.
