dear hiring manager, I have worked at Value logistics as warehouse receiving controller, I also have previously held 
positions at Eaton Hydraulics as production planner and have also worked as warehouse inventory controller. I feel I am 
well qualified and experienced enough to meet the needs of the company and department. I have a 
bachelor’s degree in business administration in logistics and supply chain management which I 
achieved at Open Learning Group (OLG), online short course certificates in sales inventory and 
operations planning, understanding EBS: applying lean across the enterprise part 1, Oracle INV135: 
Oracle 11i inventory overview, GTM training for shipping\receiving and cycle counts and physical 
inventory which I achieved at Eaton university, and also excel essentials level 1 which I obtained at 
Keybase training solutions. 
My degree is broad and I am qualified to work in purchasing, warehouse operations, demand 
planning, distribution, fleet management, forecasting, inventory management, transportation, and 
manufacturing and procurement processes I have 3 years experience now in the warehouse 
environment, I work hand in hand with receiving, stores and dispatch. I am knowledgeable in all 
three departments of the warehouse and I am familiar with the processes of all departments. On the 
planning side I I have planned the manufacturing production of my previous company, run sales 
order,planning and shortages reports, and I have worked very closely to customer services 
department, quality,technical, warehouse and purchasing.I also do business transfers, expedite 
request, plan and release works orders, monitor on time delivary, conduct shortages meetings, and 
coordinate the workshop team
I am to a certain degree knowledgeable on the invoicing process and I am also able to track 
customer deliveries and collections using excel. I am able to determine due dates for customer 
orders and I am able to plan on what needs to go out based on the customers requirement dates in 
order to meet our on time delivery goals, I work with the warehouse planner on a regular basis and 
am able to establish what needs to be done in order to meet our deadlines and targets. I am 
knowledgeable on lean and six sigma as this was my topic for my research paper in tertiary and I am 
able to also practically implement lean in the work environment. I have been nominated as a 5s 
auditors and I am a very great advocate of 5s, housekeeping and also safety. I am also strict when it 
comes to PPE and safety and at all times ensure myself and my colleagues are performing things in 
an ergonomically safe way. I have great leadership skills and at times have been given tasks which 
required me to lead a team, I am also a people’s person and a good team player but at the same 
time I greatly believe in accountability.
I am able to perform cycle count and inventory deviation investigations, I am very good at using 
inventory control systems (MFG PRO), ISA STORE, Freightware and I am good at recording data on 
excel and populating it into an easy to read graph as a report. I work hand in hand with my manager 
and supervisor on a daily basis pertaining inventory and I have learned great skills from them. I am 
able to also conduct location audits and random cycle counts. I have great communications skills and will have no problem with communicating with other departments whether by email or 
telephonically. My professional skills are rooted in my education and experience, and I feel I am well 
qualified for this job. I have a passion for logistics and supply chain management and I know I have
