My resume states that I studied Financial Information Systems till a National Diploma level. I majored in the following: Financial Accounting, Project Management for IT, and Internal Auditing.

After graduation I worked for Standard Bank of South Africa (SBSA) in the Personal and Business Baking segments. The industry exposed me to many products that are in-house and many which are digital. The environment I worked in moulded the person I am becoming; it encompassed many deadlines and also gave feedback to our clients within the desired SLA. 

The Banking industry not only prepared me for the corporate world however it also birthed a solution orientated mind-set. As the banking industry was moving to digitization many things that were a norm changed and including business processes, which I adjusted to with ease understating the need.

My experience as a business banker and also having multiple hats in the start-up company has taught me to think critically about tasks that are to be tackled  and in some instances outside my scope of work, along with developing in me a deep understanding of my role(s) pertaining to the organisation at large.

In particular when i was both a client service expert and also being the Product owner, and having to communicate precisely the needs of the user to the tech team; while having to accurately communicate the feedback to the user from the tech team. This helped make the development of the project go smoothly, even though I might have struggled a few times; however this has made me apt in this regard.
