With extensive and diverse experience in mostly the short-term insurance industry (among others, claims, risk management, supplier management, legal, regulatory and compliance), I have developed from being a sound financial services practising attorney into an individual with keen corporate acumen.

 

My rounded experience has enabled my growth in skill and experience among the strongest brands in country and if not, the world, ranging from local and international heavyweights in the financial services industry (SANTAM, Zurich, ABSA and Guardrisk, the world’s leading Cell Captive Insurer) to a premium automotive brand, BMW.

 

My experience in the short-term industry encompasses all of the business models currently in place in South Africa; from the typical standalone broker oriented business, to the banc-assurer model, the UMA model and the cell captive model.
