I'm a 32-year-old woman that works really hard and is quite passionate about what she does. Since I've been working in the insurance industry for the past 8 years, I am confident in my abilities. Despite graduating in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences, my degree certificate was withheld owing to financial reasons. I then made the decision to move from the Eastern Cape to Cape Town, change careers, and enter the financial industry.

Since June 2015, I have been employed as a sales consultant at the Sanlam Head Office. I began my career as a sales consultant, moved on to become a quality assessor until June 30, 2021, and am now a training and quality specialist since July of that year. In 2017, I completed Re5. Additionally, I acquired Wealth Management 1, 2, and 3.

I currently work in the life environment as a training and quality specialist. Throughout the course of my job, I teach and educate both new and experienced sales consultants, supervise and monitor quality assessors, and calibrate risk and life sales calls that were evaluated by quality assessors.  I create training materials, including manuals, accreditations, and scripts. I also train legislation to team managers and electronic financial advisers; I train all the aforementioned processes to slightly over 100 consultants at Sanlam Direct.

As the new consultants report to me during training, I get to manage and train them at the same time. After the new consultants have completed the training, I sign them off and deem them competent, and they are then able to work with their relevant teams and under the supervision of their line manager. Since I was a quality assessor before I was a training specialist, I also help mentor and coach Quality Assessors.

I have strong presentational and communication skills. innovates, and I'm a results-oriented person. Collaboration is important to me since I am adaptable and can easily fit into any process or atmosphere. When it comes to the organization I represent, I have a high standard of good honesty and integrity.

In conclusion, my background and skill sets have prepared me to be a successful contributing team member in this type of environment and for an organization exactly like yours. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
