I have a National Diploma in Mechatronics acquired at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2014.

Since I have started working as a Process Engineer at the Automotive industry 8
years ago, I’ve quickly mastered the requisite skills for the role, and helped
our department to reach M80 project phase without any issues. While I’m
happy with my current position, working abroad and in a different company will improve my skills and help me with my long-term career goals, and I feel that I would be an immediate asset to the team.
I am an integral member of the tool, machinery development and buy off tools for the
W206 project for MBSA. I have conducted 1st tool trials to final handover
successfully for VW270PA, Isuzu and W206 projects.
I also manage and lead tool modifications for the various improvements
necessary at the various stages of project development and liaise with the
machine tool builders for all tools for the current new projects in order to
implement tool improvements through tool design and change initiatives for
process improvements and monitor and control all process changes and give
relevant update on progress at project meetings. 

Document control a very vital core in this operation in ensuring that the tool changes are recorded, communicated, implemented, controlled and monitored successfully.
With my current studies in Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain and
Operations Management I will be able to improve my knowledge and skill in
areas such as Project management, Quality Management and Techniques
and Purchasing management. And as well as with my Automotive
development experience I will be a good candidate for this position.

Close cooperation and coordination with the central Manufacturing Engineering, especially during development.
Cooperation in the specification of tools, machines and equipment on request Product and process industrialization (including tools and equipment) from commissioning to series production.
Ensuring readiness for series production, determination of process parameters, proof of correlations.
Preparation of all plant and Manufacturing Engineering documents for the handover of tools, plants and equipment (including action plans for conditional handovers).
Analysis and determination of the matching requirements for individual parts (in-house production, purchased parts) together with ENG from commissioning.
Organization and, if necessary, supervision of samples, running-in work, trials and pre-series production in the factory.
Support / controlling / production qualification at the supplier's premises Purchased parts on request.
Recommendations and, if necessary, support for training of production personnel in coordination with Production Engineer Plant.
Ensuring compliance with and cooperation in the further development of the standards
Proactive development of measures to ensure the ability to deliver.
Cooperation in the definition of the production concept, technical values for calculation, development and article design in the project (on request).

Identification of rationalization potential in the plant, both in the personnel and technical areas.
