Murunwa Ramothwala

Murunwa is a detail-oriented Senior Associate currently working in the Core Audit
Assurance & SAP Risk Assurance departments at PwC with three years of
comprehensive experience in both Financial and IT Audit. Murunwa is currently advancing through her
SAICA articles, proving a robust set of competencies and technical proficiencies essential for achieving
the Chartered Accountant designation. She has a track record of handling a diverse portfolio of
clients with different legal & financial compliance requirements holding a Post Graduate Diploma in
Accounting Sciences with an in-depth understanding of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, IAS, ISA, King IV Code
on Corporate Governance, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, VAT Act, and specialized knowledge in
management accounting and finance. In addition to the above Murunwa has experience in providing IT
audit support, and conducting reviews of controls for design and operating effectiveness per a client’s risk
and control matrix. Her focus areas include IT general controls (ITGCs) and business process controls.
