Mthobisi Mbhele

My name is Mthobisi Mbhele. I have acquired knowledge on geotechnical, pavement, reinforced concrete and steel design, transportation, infrastructure planning, hydraulics as well research project among others. I am proficient in design softwares such as Revit, Prokon, as well as Microsoft Excel. My passion and love for technology and innovation, has led me to expand my knowledge into the field of Data Analytics and Python programming. I have completed short courses from Udemy and HUAWEI.

I have acquired experience from Zamlon Civils and Projects (Pty) Ltd during a road rehabilitation project. My roles included classifying sections of the road according to the severity, capture daily works, material quantity calculations for the refilling of the road and other responsibilities. Having worked with people from different backgrounds, I believe that I have been equipped with not only leadership skills but soft skills such as;

I am friendly, but assertive and considerate towards other people, a skill I gained from past work experiences tutoring and call centre/sales work. As a salesperson from Jikelele Tankers and Trailers (selling diesel/petrol mobile tanks), I had roles, among others, of approaching interested clients, advising on the most suitable tanks for their desired outcome.

An aspiring Civil Engineer that loves the challenge to take on extra responsibility and has a willingness to learn. Strongly believes in hard work, reliable, great interpersonal and communication skills.
