Snr Buyer, procurement position.

I started my career as receiving clerk in a hardware store, and soon moved on to buying building materials and hardware for + /- 10years.

I worked for a construction company for 10 years, and was responsible for quantities surveying from building plans, sourcing, price negotiating, budgeting, project management and procuring everything needed per townhouse development site to complete project status.  I this time I also managed office day to day office needs, company functions, and small staff complement.

The last 3 years I am involved with sourcing and procurement of “everything under the sun” for an export company who service clients in Africa country's (Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique) tourism and farming industries.   

I studied Purchasing Management - 3 year National diploma.
