Mohammed Azhar Hamid Hoosen

I am a highly skilled and experienced Boilermaker currently employed at ND Engineering in KZN. I have experience working in a workshop and on site environment. My time at ND Engineering has allowed me the opportunity of working with various national and international companies within the mining, petroleum, wood, paper, and pulp industries. Along with my main role as a qualified Boilermaker, I am a Health and Safety representative and step into the role of site supervisor when required.

• Fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repairs of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, converters, and screw conveyors
• Develop, orientate and manipulate plate, pipe and other forms of materials to fabricate mechanical, structural, and pressure equipment
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope of work, locations and positions, quantities and sizes of materials required
• Adhering to all health and safety practice requirements and promote good housekeeping to ensure compliance with a risk free environment
• Liaising with relevant personnel to arrange resources and equipment to ensure successful task execution
• Perform hydro testing of assembled vessels to meet specification standards

Finish grade 12 at Umkomaas Secondary School in 2011. I went on to do my N courses at Thekwini FET College in 2013.
