No matter the size of the Organization, receptionist will improve the productivity in the organization.  Not only will the receptionist handle the constant interruptions of a phone calls, but should be able to deliver messages and prioritize projects for the entire staff so nothing falls between the cracks. Again a receptionist is the essential person, the face and the voice of the company. And for the reason being, they play an extremely important role in the representation of the organization.
