During the course of my studies and my time spent thus far in the corporate and legal field, I have come to realize and understand the importance of regulations and their impact within industry as well as the consumer. I have subsequently sought to expand my legal expertise to broader FMCG categories, which currently include complementary alternative medicines (CAM’s), health supplements, medicines, medical devices, electrical devices, and cosmetics amongst other non-food related articles. Having been brought up with a strong ethical core, law has felt a logical step towards expanding my career scope, which would allow me to personally make a difference within my chosen field.

I have had the opportunity to perform a number of leadership and managements roles and have always found that team collaboration achieves far more that that ever achieved alone. Having said that I am able to work independently, thriving on challenges and the subsequent solution of problems experienced through day-to-day work.

A passionate, professional and experienced Food Scientist, currently enrolled and completing my LLB through Unisa. After completing my undergraduate and honours in Food Science at the University of Pretoria (Tuks), I was offered an internship at Dis-Chem Pharmacies (Head Office) which provided an incredible base on which to begin my career. Currently heading the role of Technical Assistant at Hahn and Hahn Inc. under the guidance of leading IP, food, medicine and consumer law attorney – Mr Janusz Luterek.
