Michael Cloete

I am a highly motivated individual with a diverse skillset, having had both hard and soft skills honed through my extensive work experience. 

I am a qualified mechanical engineering technologist with experience in both engineering disciplines and general management. Having qualified as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, I spent three years within a consulting engineering firm, before joining a vast, vertically integrated agricultural business, with its core focus on the production of organic bananas.

Apart from my engineering experience, I have gained extensive experience in a senior management
position dealing with many of the varied facets of business, including but not limited to human
resources, health and safety, food safety, legal and compliance matters, stock control and many
other general management requirements. I have thus had good exposure to the dynamic
requirements of successful business operations in a challenging climate. 

I am currently working for a consulting engineering firm in the petrochemical division. 
 

I have a Bachelor of Technology degree in mechanical engineering, obtained through Cape Technikon.
