Micayla Basson

I am a Learning and Development Consultant with experience in customer success, training facilitation, and business administration across financial services, healthcare, and international environments. I have a strong background in stakeholder management, client life-cycle support, and the development of practical, engaging training solutions. I am currently completing a bachelor's degree in psychology and business management, which complements my hands-on experience and people-centered approach to driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

I have progressive professional experience spanning customer success, learning and development, training facilitation, and business administration across financial services, healthcare, and international organizations. My background includes managing client relationships, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, maintaining compliance and risk processes, and delivering end-to-end training solutions. I have held roles ranging from Sales Consultant to Training Team Leader and Customer Success Manager, allowing me to develop a strong operational, people-focused, and results-driven approach. Throughout my career, I have supported performance improvement, onboarding, reporting, and continuous development initiatives while working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

I am currently completing a bachelor's degree in psychology and business management through SACAP (2024-2029), which strengthens my understanding of human behavior, organizational dynamics, and business principles, in addition to the pending completion of an NQF Level 5 qualification in Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (ODETDP) from ENJO Consultants, equipping me with formal training facilitation and learning design expertise. I have also completed multiple business and insurance qualifications through Milpark Business School, covering long-term and short-term insurance (personal and commercial lines), as well as a Class of Business: Health Service Benefits qualification from Affinity Business School. I completed my Grade 12 at Westering High School.
