I am an experienced financial and grants compliance specialist who possesses exceptional analytical, communication and problem solving skills. I am result oriented and always looking for opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance and I am currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). 
I have six (6) years’ experience in the NGO sector and the skill set that I have gained includes, Financial reporting, financial management, Financial analysis, Risk management, Grants management, Partnership management and capacity building, Resource mobilization and Humanitarian aid response.

I am an experienced financial specialist with excellent analytical skills and results driven attitude. Currently employed as the Country Management Accountant for Plan International Zimbabwe, which is made up of five (5) field offices and one (1) Head Office, i am responsible for Country Financial Performance Management, Coordinating Month-end and Year end Processes, Grants Management, Planning and Analysis, Country Treasury management, budget management, financial reporting, partnership management, proposal development and cost recovery analysis, internal financial controls, and country finance corporate systems. I have overall oversight over a grant portfolio of over EUR 21 million funded by various donors including, EU,SIDA,FCDO,UNICEF,ECHO,WFP,UNFPA,CISU,DANIDA and Finland MFA. I have transformed and improved the financial reporting process through the introduction of advanced Microsoft Excel based reporting tools and Power BI visual and data story-telling, which reduced the report preparation time by more than 50% and increased reporting data quality and presentation by more than 70%. I have supported various countries within the MEESA region on financial management, grant management and Cost recovery initiatives.
