Matthew Radford

My name is Matthew Radford living in Cape Town, South Africa and I am 24 years old. I am a graduate of Stellenbosch University with a BSc honours degree in Animal Science with Aquaculture. It was here I furthered my knowledge in the fields of genetics, biochemistry, animal science and aquaculture. It was also here where I found my mindset gravitating towards conservation in particular as well as towards understanding ecosystems and all the interesting aspects associated with them. My passion for aquatic life is immense as I have spent my life in and around these environments. This includes fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, surfing, boating or any other activities associated with water. Over the years I have created a following on Instagram under the name bassin_barry with the goal of sharing the beauty and great diversity of life our aquatic ecosystems have to offer.
 

Worked as clinic coordinator of Table Bay Medical Covid-19 testing centre. At the moment my passion out ways my work experience but, I feel I am a fast and flexible learner when it comes to things I am passionate about. I am open to any opportunities that may arise and am willing to gain experience and knowledge in nearly any field. I hope that my hunger to learn and experience new fields is evident.
