• Going out on RFQ to Local & Import suppliers (purchasing Valves, FILTER: CARTRIDGE, COUPLING, IMPELLER. Everything needed by the plant.
• Placing orders on SAP for Local and Imports suppliers.
• Booking meeting with the suppliers and taking minutes. 
• Overseeing and expediting daily activities and purchases 
• Updating production order book on Excel for monitoring shortages and stock availability.
• Printing trail reports to verify availability of stock for purchase planning and management 
• Compiling and maintaining daily open purchase requisition list.
• Liaising with both local and international suppliers to ensure timeous and correct stock delivery.
• Handling and resolving queries from warehouse regarding item codes, batch numbers, damages, etc 
• Achieving department objectives and goals within the budget. 
• Maintaining purchasing information, files and records (eg requests for products, purchasing orders, vendor files, etc) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documents. 

Reporting - the ability to accurately give an account of information pertaining to the performance of outputs. 

Btech in Logistics Management
