I am an enthusiastic qualified CA(SA) with a wide range of experience and skills in financial reporting, financial systems, management accounting and operations. My recent position at Sedibelo Resources Limited focused on in-depth financial-, management and shareholder reporting. 

I have a passion for operations and the managing of timelines and people. Besides the ability to work effective as a member of a team, I can work independently using my strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I completed my articles at Deloitte Pretoria, after which I moved to Australia where I worked at Deloitte Sydney for a year, as a senior analyst. On my return to South Africa I joined the forensic department at Deloitte. In 2016 I decided to leave consulting for commerce. 

I joined RCL foods as management accountant in February 2016, in October 2016 I got promoted to Commercial Manager, responsible for both the Beverages and Pies plant, with three management accountants reporting directly into me.

At RCL foods I was responsible for forecasting and budgeting at site level, reviewing of all costs, reporting on over and under expenditure and all reporting to Group. During my two years at RCL foods we implemented SAP at both sites. In 2018 I decided to make a change in my career, there was no further growth for me at RCL foods at site level, moving to Durban where the head office is based, wasn't feasible back then.

In 2018 I joined Sedibelo Resources Limited as Financial Controller. The Company is a multi national PGM mining company, with an operating mine in Pilanesberg. As Financial Controller I am responsible for all internal and external reporting, to management and the relevant stake holders, which includes management reporting, board reports and quarterly/annual financial statements and reports needed for Canadian reporting requirements. Reviewing of all costs, to ensure accurate reporting is my responsibility. In 2021 I was promoted to Group Reporting manager, after which I focused more on the reporting and reviewing, rather than day-to-day financing responsibilities.

I graduated from the University of Pretoria, where I completed by Bcom Accounting degree and honours degree. 

In 2012 I qualified as a CA(SA), passing both board exams at first attempt.
