During her part-time work at TangleWood Nature Estate and VeldFunksies, Maruné built a sound understanding of business disciplines applicable to the Events environment. She demonstrates effective communication skills with strong interpersonal awareness, addressing guest queries or complaints with swift diplomacy. She has established good administrative skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
Maruné previously served as a Practical and Marking Assistant while studying at North-West University. She intends on growing in the Hospitality Industry in a suitable manager position, where she can combine her practical experience and graduate knowledge to the benefit of guest service and company profitability.
She’s worked full-time as a Fundraising and Events Coordinator at Kungwini Welfare Organisation in Pretoria, where she is generating funds into the organisation by hosting and administrating fundraisingevents. She also worked full-time at Monte De Dios Wedding and Conference Venue, where she performed her duties as Wedding and Events Coordinator, alongside with marketing and graphic designing.
Maruné registered her own company Maroon Events, Décor and Design in February 2023. This company specializes in Event Planning and Coordinating, Décor Rental, Graphic Designing and Wedding Dress Rental Services.

An astute Post BSc Consumer Science and Business Management Graduate, from the North-West University Potchefstroom Campus, Maruné Maritz offers exceptional experience as an Event Planner, Coordinator and Manager along with commitment to developing a successful professional career in Event Planning, Coordination and Management.

Maruné has completed Social Media Marketing, Graphic Design and Event Management short courses (UCT). She expanded het knowledge and skills further with an Advance Wedding Planning and Styling course at the SA School of Weddings.
