Martin Stroebel

As a well-travelled allrounder, I have more than 20 years of experience in events, sales & marketing, hotels, and restaurants.  New business development was one of my main roles the past 4 years. I thoroughly enjoy the research and analytical part of finding new clients and leads. Even though I really enjoy working in a team, I am also very productive in a remote working environment. Being analytical I pay special attention to detail and very organized in my work. Guest experience and high-quality service is very important to me, and I will go extraordinary lengths to ensure clients'/ guests' expectations are exceeded. My number one passion is travelling followed by cooking & baking. The creative and innovative part of baking and experimental cooking intrigues me. Living an active life is part of my DNA - running, hiking and physical exercise. I lived in London for 2 years and in Israel for over a year.

Part of the top 100 sales associates, globally, for 2 consecutive years for Starwood Hotels (now Marriott Hotels).

Part of the opening team for the first AC Hotel in Africa, based in Cape Town. 

Owned my own restaurant.

Learned Hebrew as a 3rd language (it was hard)
