I am currently working as / HV Technician at Khobab Wind Farm in Loeriesfontein. In this position I am responsible for Balance of Plant. Over the past 16 years, I have gained ample experience in the field of Distribution, Transmission and Generation. I would describe myself as someone who is hungry for opportunities.Combined with my experience, I believe that I can make a valuable contribution to your organization. I see the position of HV Technician? Electrician as the perfect next step in my career. In this position I expect to be able to develop myself further as a professional. I would like to further explain my motivation for the position of Foreman Electrician during a personal meeting.

Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, coordinate daily tasks with the scheduler and technicians, conduct toolbox talks, and issue work permits. Provide first-level technical support to technicians, deliver technical feedback to customers, and liaise with Technical Support on technical issues. Approve technicians' working hours in SAP and subcontractors' timesheets on a weekly basis. Assist technicians with their daily duties, update shadow data post-modification, monitor VTM alarms and warnings, conduct contractor inductions, report economic data monthly, complete paperwork as mandated by management, and perform switching of 132 and 22 kV.

I completed my matriculation in 1995, and in 1998, I enrolled in an Electrical Engineering certificate program at Bloemfontein College. Subsequently, I joined Eskom as a learner artisan and continued until I was fully integrated into the Distribution department, becoming a qualified electrician.
