Roles and Responsibilities:

To create, debug, verify, maintain and update technical test scripts to run automated testing. Is responsible for testing the functionality of a system designed to address business requirements to prevent errors/defects in the live system through the implementation of change control and improvement.

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to ensure adherence to design quality and coding standards
• Complete individual timesheet on time
• Collaboration/ Knowledge Sharing
• Track quality assurance metrics such as defect density and early life incidents
• Track quality assurance metrics such as defect ageing, criticality and turnaround times and test cycle progress
• Liaison with developers, Scrum Masters and Business Analyst or System Analyst
• Impact Analysis
• Review requirements and specifications to define test scenarios and test cases
• Design and implement acceptance tests for user and technical stories
• Design and implement acceptance tests for user and technical stories
• Design and execute acceptance test scenarios and test cases for user stories and log, create and track in Jira
• Test and validate solution against user story and technical story acceptance criteria, leveraging automation where possible  
• Test and validate solution against user story acceptance criteria, leveraging automation where possible
• Risk Analysis and identification
• Debug tests and provide corrective actions to software engineering
• Identify, record and monitor testing bugs
• Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Assisting Business Analyst to create  User Stories and User Comms
• Conducting UAT with product owners/ Business
• Ensure all test data is available
• Conduct Daily Scrum meeting
