Marizka Nothnagel

I am a very optimistic and agile Supply Chain leader that is trusted and respected by my team. I have a collaborative leadership style and strongly believe in coaching others and bringing the team along to achieve the vision and strategy. I tend to always explain the big picture and reasoning behind my decisions or strategies based on business priorities. I am a strong analytical person with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. My passion in Supply Chain is in the field of Planning, Forecasting and Inventory Management. I am also a very cost conscious individual and lead various projects to improve business profits and revenue. I have good written and verbal communication skills, effective listening and interpersonal skills.

I have ±20 years worth of work experience, mostly in Supply Chain, ±15 years in Leadership roles of which the last 4 and a half years was as Supply Chain Director for Joy Global Africa.

Amongst others I hold a BCom Statistics degree from the University of Pretoria, I successfully completed the Executive Leadership Development Program with GIBS in 2019 and successfully completed my Certification in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) certificate through APICS in 2010.
