Hello! My name is Victoria and I live in Lesotho which is in South Africa. I taught English to students for two years in Egypt and then moved back home to teach for four years now. The age of my students ranged from 10 years old to over 70 years old, Japanese, Korean, Thai and Chinese. I have learned you are never too young or too old to learn!

About my Lessons:
I am not only a teacher, but I have been a student for most of my life. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration and Political Science. Learning another language is hard - I get it!! That's why my I am super patient, and always tell my students to not worry about making mistakes! I have the experience necessary to make you feel comfortable speaking English with a native speaker. My goal is to help my students become successful!

In addition to teaching English, I have offered counselling sessions to most students while I was in University and continue to offer more now that I am a mother and wife. I can help students with their personal and confidential problems that they do not feel comfortable talking about with anyone else. It is healthy, both mentally and physically to talk about and work through your personal and private problems. If you need someone to talk to and equally important, someone who will listen to you, please consider talking to me.

Whether you are just starting to learn English or you are trying to improve your English proficiency, regardless of your age, I will be there to help you get through the challenges that learning a new language can present. Most importantly, I have the experience necessary to help you achieve your goal of learning English, Together, we can!

I am writing to express my strong interest in working as a teacher in Japan. As someone from Lesotho, I believe that my unique background and experiences make me an excellent candidate for this position.

I have always been passionate about teaching, and I believe that education is one of the most important ways to make a positive impact on the world. In particular, I have a deep interest in teaching English to students in Japan. I believe that English is an essential skill for success in today's globalized world, and I am eager to help Japanese students improve their English language skills.

One of the reasons why I am particularly drawn to Japan is its rich culture and history. I have always been fascinated by Japanese art, literature, and philosophy, and I would be honored to have the opportunity to immerse myself in this culture while also sharing my own experiences and perspectives. I believe that teaching in Japan would be an incredible opportunity for personal and professional growth, and I am eager to contribute to the vibrant educational community there.

Additionally, as someone from Lesotho, I am aware of the importance of cross-cultural understanding and communication. Lesotho is a country with a complex history and diverse cultural traditions, and I believe that my experiences growing up in this environment have prepared me well for the challenges of teaching in a foreign country. I am confident that I have the skills and empathy necessary to connect with students from a wide range of backgrounds and to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

I am also deeply committed to my own ongoing personal and professional development. I have pursued a wide range of educational opportunities, including completing a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science and TEFL Certificate. I believe that continuous learning is essential to being an effective teacher, and I am eager to continue to grow and learn in a new cultural context.

In terms of my specific qualifications and experience, I believe that I would be a strong candidate for this position. I have over three years of experience teaching English as a second language to students of all ages and levels, such as Koreans, Japanese, Thai and Chinese I am skilled at creating engaging and effective lesson plans, and I have a particular talent for helping students to feel confident and motivated in their language learning

Public administration is a broad field that involves the study of government administration and the implementation of public policy, This degree has made me work in nongovernmental organizations and government agencies. Public administration degree taught me skills related to public service, grant writing and project management. Upon graduating, I understood better how to protect public safety and implement a variety of public policies.
