My name is Makhosazana Jekwa, I am a Diagnostic Radiographer, currently working a night duty at Drs Bloch and Partners Inc. in Johannesburg, Sandton.

I have a BTech degree in Diagnostic Radiography as well a BA general degree majored in Psychology and Marketing. Studying this BA degree makes me a potential asset to your organization because it allows me to use a patient centered approach when performing my role. My positive attitude towards life is one of my best attributes because 'I believe one can be trained for any skill but can not be trained for attitude'. This belief helps me to be open to learning new skills and adapt easily to any environment. Therefore, I will be the best-fit for your organizational culture.

Working as a Night duty Radiographer has helped me to work independently. In my current role, I perform General X-rays and CT scans for the wards, ER and outpatients. I also perform administrative work to register my patients on the system prior to performing x-rays. This role allows me use autonomy and critical thinking skills. Moreover, it through this role that I learned to use a solution centred approach. I also have 6 years experience in working with trauma patients. This role has taught me to simultaneously work with urgency and delicacy.

I also currently working as a locum/sessional Radiographer at a public clinic known as Wits Oral Centre. In this role, I perform various dental x-rays: CBCT scans, Pan-Ceph and intra-oral x-rays.
