I have acquired a sound engineering theoretical knowledge and skills that enabled me to perform and manage engineering activities in the Oil & Gas industry. I have worked in multidisciplinary projects which enhanced my skills to communicate well with others. I have developed skills in knowledge based problem solving, managing contractors, engineering and administrative activities. This assisted me in developing the ability to recognise and address reasonable foreseeable social, cultural and environmental effects of engineering activities. 

I have attained knowledge to plan and implement solutions taking a holistic approach to cost, benefits, health, safety, reliability, environmental impact and maintaining ethical sound judgement. 

I apply for this position to enhance my development in the knowledge aspect of pipeline business, to exercise my strategy and financial skills to support the business needs of Transnet pipelines. I strive to learn and improve my professional skills in the work environment through new and old challenges, which I believe this position will provide a platform for me to grow in that regard.   

I developed commissioning framework plans to describe the technical approach and methodology in terms of preparing functional checks and operational testing of the entire asset across COP pipelines during crude pipeline upgrade project. 

Responsibilities 

• Scheduling and coordinating commissioning of systems and subsystems 
• Reviewing the technical documentation of existing system and new technical designs 
• Developed and managed testing procedures that ensure correct functionality of equipment and machinery 
• Provide leadership during commissioning of plant systems
• Risk assessment to ensure safe working environment for all employees, equipment and machinery. 
• Review of P&IDs, PFDs and control philosophy documents 
• I Perform factory acceptant test and site acceptance tests of electrical  and control systems 
• Develop life cycle plan for installed base assets 

Managed and coordinated commission activities in various project as per commissioning philosophy and stages.
