As a paralegal, I aim to apply my growing legal knowledge, research skills, and dedication to justice while continuing to develop professionally within the legal fraternity
Experience
My name is Luyanda Nyubatyha, and I am a motivated professional with a unique blend of mining operations, HR support, and legal knowledge. I am currently seeking new opportunities to apply my skills in compliance, administration, and employee development.
During my career at Harmony Gold, I gained experience in a range of operational roles, including Conveyor Belt Operator, Blasting Assistant, Stopping Team Member, and Engineering Assistant. These positions sharpened my problem-solving ability, safety-first mindset, and technical adaptability in high-pressure environments.
I further expanded my expertise as an Assistant in HR (exposure for 6 months but extended to 8), supporting recruitment, staff relations, and compliance processes. I also served on the Housing & HRD Committee and the Health & Safety Task Team, where I worked collaboratively to improve workplace conditions and ensure regulatory compliance.
Academically, I hold a Higher Certificate in Law, and I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Law through UNISA. My studies, combined with practical work experience, have equipped me with strong skills in legal research, writing, analysis, and policy compliance. In addition, I am a qualified Basic Ambulance Assistant, which has strengthened my resilience, decision-making, and emergency response capabilities.
I am passionate about continuous growth and committed to making a meaningful contribution to any organization I join. My goal is to leverage my operational background and legal training to support roles in administration, HR, compliance, or safety—bringing value through dedication, integrity, and a proactive work ethic.
