I am an Analyst at MTN South Africa, a leading telecommunications company, where I leverage my skills in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Data Quality and Data Governance to transform raw data into actionable insights, empowering businesses to make informed decisions. 

As a data enthusiast, I thrive on contributing to impactful, data-driven projects that drive business growth and improve decision-making processes. Some of my achievements include developing dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators, conducting data quality audits and assessments, and implementing data governance policies and standards.

I am also pursuing an Honors degree in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence at the University of the Western Cape, where I am learning advanced techniques and tools to enhance my data capabilities and knowledge. I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my learning to real-world scenarios and challenges, and to explore new ways of unlocking the potential of data.

My goal is to become a data expert and leader, who can deliver value and innovation through data-driven solutions and strategies. I am always eager to learn new skills, technologies, and methodologies, and to collaborate with other data professionals and stakeholders. I am passionate about data and its role in shaping the future.

The key components of my role are: Data investigations Data Analytics and Auditing, Data Quality, Building and defining dashboard controls, ETL and ELT, Developing Scorecards, Data mining and Reporting , and finally monitoring PowerBI dashboards.

Translate Business Strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant BI projects aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures.

Data Governance and Management :defined12 Data Governance processes, policies, and procedures to ensure effective data handling. implementing ELT and ETL controls, developing scorecards, and appointing a data steward within each business unit. Additionally, it encompasses data mining and reporting, defining business KPIs, and configuring metadata in metadata tools to ensure accurate and efficient data management.

Leadership & Management : Delegating work  & Providing support to graduates reporting to me .
