Research Assistant at the University of The Western Cape

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct literature reviews
• Collect and analyse data
• Attend project meetings
• Attend area seminars and other meetings as necessary
• Summarize project results
• Prepare progress reports for the PI and funding agency
• Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations

Throughout the course of my career, I have perfected my calibration and equipment abilities and ensuring top-flight quality control while performing various testing and research projects. Project completed under Water Treatment by removing heavy metals using the Nano-magnetic particles.
In this research project I have used LC-MS, TLC, HPLC and NMR, which improved my skills and broaden my understanding of chemistry. I can discover, analyse, and interpret written materials such as graphs, timetables and manuals using my reading skills. The top skill I gained is meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. I have gained keen knowledge of chemistry operations and my ability to perform effective quality control procedures
