Angela Lourentia Ogle, commonly known as Lourentia, embarked on a dynamic professional journey that showcased her exceptional skills and dedication across various sectors. Beginning her career at Durban Radiological Services as a Receptionist, Angela demonstrated proficiency in client relations, data management, and front office operations. Transitioning to Telkom SA as a Community Relations Consultant, she excelled in managing information, communication channels, and maintaining corporate identity, while actively participating in committees focused on affirmative action, performance management, HIV/AIDS, and labor relations. Angela's career then led her to the Medical Research Council of SA, where she served as a Provincial Community Coordinator/Educator for HIV Vaccine Clinical Trials. In this role, she played a pivotal part in creating awareness about HIV vaccine research, facilitating trainings for various stakeholder groups, conducting research, managing budgets, and engaging in stakeholder relations. Her responsibilities included protocol development, data collection, translations, reporting, and community profiling, showcasing her expertise in research methodology application and community engagement. The culmination of Angela's career journey brought her to Health Systems Trust, where she served as a Community Coordinator for Differentiated Care. In this role, she provided district-level support to Pick-up Points implementing Differentiated Care modalities, coordinated activities between various stakeholders, facilitated training sessions, monitored program performance, and engaged in networking and relationship management. Angela's responsibilities extended to CBO support, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and marketing of HST programs, highlighting her exceptional coordination, organization, and planning skills. Throughout her career progression from Durban Radiological Services to Telkom SA, the Medical Research Council of SA, and finally to Health Systems Trust, Angela Lourentia Ogle has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to community development, research excellence, and capacity building.
