About Louise Knowles:
I am returning to the job market after several years looking after my elderly mother. I have extensive experience as a secretary especially as a legal secretary. I also have a BA degree which I recently updated with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education to teach grades 1, 2 and 3. Since my English skills and typing speed are good, and I value formality in business relationships, I would like to get a position in the medical field.
Experience
I worked as a legal secretary in Johannesburg for over 10 years, in various legal firms. Since coming to live in the Eastern Cape I have worked as a journalist at the Talk of the Town, as well as the assistant manager of a restaurant and as a carer to an old lady with dementia. I am currrently also working in a surf shop on a part time basis.
