I am a Registered Dietitian with a keen interest in Women's Health s as well as research in the Food Technology and product development realm.
After 4 years of dedication I have completed my undergraduate degree in Dietetics at the North-West University, Potchefstroom in which I have received Golden Key status as part of academic excellence.
I am currently completing my Community Service year in which I run the Dietetics Department of both Nala District Hospital (Bothaville, Freestate) and Mohau District Hospital (Hoopstad, Freestate) as well as their surrounding clinics (4 clinics in total). I have also attended to patients in Welkom, Virginia, Bultfontein, Odendaalsrus and arranged training weeks all over the Lejweleputswa District, equipping me with detailed system knowledge.
I follow a patient-first approach and believe that empowerment comes from valuing my patient's own experiences of their environment and that there are multiple determinants of health. I place emphasis on self-efficacy and I work in partnership with my patients to overcome powerful barriers and create a positive change.
I am thrilled to showcase my skills and I continue to embrace new opportunities to unlock my true potential as a Dietitian.
