Lingene Kolomba

Lingene is a highly motivated, engaged, and passionate individual and recently qualified as Professional Accountant (SA), with four years of experience exposed in various components in the auditing atmosphere focusing on auditing and reporting on predetermined objectives, ensuring sound financial management, good governance, evaluation of internal controls implemented, risk identification and response, providing support to provincial departments and local government by making recommendations of weaknesses identified in their control system, leadership, communications, stakeholder relations, report writing, and many other aspects.  

I am currently responsible for the following: Finance lease and Operating lease, Intangible Assets, vehicles or fleet register, non–current assets held for sale, Firearms register, and coaching and supervising junior staff and preparation of the annual financial statements with regards to the above.

I have all the main attributes the role requires, combined with determination and a positive approach, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience I possess.

My colleagues would tell you I'm a team player who maintains a positive attitude and outlook and also someone who carries out a delegated task. I have the ability to stay focused in stressful situations and can be counted on when the going gets tough.

have completed my B. Compt (Accounting) degree majoring in Financial Accounting, Taxation, Management Accounting, and auditing at the University of the Free State. Currently, I just passed the SAIPA Board Examination to become a Professional Accountant through the South African Institution of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) and my membership number is 46111.
