Likano Makote

My name is Likano Makote. I am a Graduate of the University of Johannesburg, with a BA in Digital Media Design. My specialties include Writing, Animation, Character Design, Storyboarding, video editing and Illustration. I also have skills in Photography and videography. I have experience with the following programs: Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After effects; as well as Clip Studio Paint and Maya.  My Passion for art/design goes as far back as when I was child, when I would obsessively watch cartoons on TV. The older I got, I eventually discovered Anime, which directly influenced my decision to do Animation because I fell in love with the expressive and often experimental style of animation seen in Anime. I soon began drawing comics and when I started University, I moved over to animation. During University, I also gained other skills. I gained experience in Film, and I was part of different projects which ranged from documentary film-making to Short Films. During these projects, I was part of the different stages which includes the formation of the concept, filming and post-production.
