In 2008 I completed my master’s degree in Interior Architecture at the University of Pretoria. As part of my dissertation, I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, through an institutional exchange program. Thereafter, I gained extensive experience as a Senior Interior Architect from renowned architecture and interior design firms. My responsibilities included the realization of projects, from concept initiation, technical documentation, coordination, and site implementation. During this time, I was successively promoted from Interior Architect, Project Coordinator to Senior Interior Architect with my ensuing role as Lead Designer, where my expertise came to fruition in strategic planning, conceptual development, spatial design, and client interface. A notable project from my portfolio includes the head offices of the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA). This building received a 6 Star Green Star SA Office Designv1 certification from the Green Building Council Africa (GBCA), it also received the first Interiors award from SAPOA. In 2014, I established White Box Design and successfully ran my own Interior Design consultancy before Growthpoint invited me to join their team as Senior Manager, heading up the Workplace Strategy and Design division. This platform gave me an opportunity to entrench workplace solutions on a much wider scale and be exposed to the latest trends in high performance workspaces, globally. May 2019 Broll Property Group asked me to join Cushman & Wakefield | Broll Occupier Services Cluster as Head of Workplace Consulting. Subsequently we registered Internal Developers (Pty) Ltd to which I was promoted as Managing Director in April 2020.
